NEW REPORT:
Mount Rainier National Park has Land for Sale

The National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA) is reporting that many of our National Parks – Mount Rainier among them – are in danger of losing land within their boundaries to developers. At Mount Rainier National Park, a large chunk of land inside park boundaries is privately owned by a timber company. The company is willing to sell the land, but the Park Service doesn’t have the funds available. The NPCA wants Congress to provide the Park Service with funding that could be used to purchase these so-called “in-holdings.”
